The Toastmaster of the Evening welcomes everyone, introduces guests by name, and sets the tone for the hour ahead.
The Grammarian introduces a new vocabulary word. Members earn points by working it naturally into their comments throughout the evening.
Club members deliver rehearsed speeches from the Pathways learning program, each one building specific communication or leadership skills.
Impromptu speaking at its finest. Members — and guests — respond to surprise questions in 1–2 minutes. No preparation required or expected.
Trained evaluators give each speaker specific, supportive feedback — what landed, what could be stronger, and concrete suggestions to try next time.
Best Table Topics, Best Speaker, and Best Evaluator are recognized. Then comes the part many members love most: informal conversation after the gavel drops.
