The Innovative Planning path develops project-planning and event-management skills, with strong emphasis on presenting plans to stakeholders. The path balances "how to plan" mechanics with "how to sell a plan" presentation craft.
Core projects
- Successful Collaboration
- Manage Projects Successfully
- Lead in Any Situation
- Lead in Your Volunteer Organization
- Prepare and Present a Proposal
How the path is structured
Like all Pathways paths, this one has five levels and fourteen projects. Levels 1 and 2 build a foundation of communication craft (Ice Breaker, evaluation, researching). Levels 3 through 5 are where the path's distinctive content lives — the projects listed above mostly fall here. Most members complete a single path in 12 to 18 months while attending a normal club meeting cadence.
Pick this path if…
Pick Innovative Planning over Dynamic Leadership if your work involves more project-shaped problems than people-shaped ones. Pick it over Persuasive Influence if you build the plan first and then pitch it, rather than starting from the pitch.
Good fit for
project managers, event organizers, anyone who pitches plans to boards or committees, club Conference Chairs, volunteer leaders running multi-month initiatives.
