The Education Team falls under the Program Quality Director's chair teams — specifically, the chairs responsible for delivering the District's education program. The other PQD chair teams have their own pages: Speech Contests, District Conference, Moments of Truth, and Club Ambassadors. All five teams report to the PQD; see the Program Quality page for the full picture.
The team's chairs
Education Chair
Coordinates the year's education sessions, manages the Annual Education Program calendar, and runs make-up training scheduling when divisions need it.
Pathways Chair
Owns Pathways enrollment growth and completion support. The first person to talk to about a Pathways challenge anywhere in the District.
Trainers Academy Chair
Runs the District 84 Trainers Academy — the pipeline that develops certified internal trainers for TLI, education sessions, and conference workshops.
How the team works together
The Education Team meets monthly with the Program Quality Director, supports each other's events (TLI rounds especially), and reviews the year's progress against the Annual Education Program.
Joining the team
If you're interested in serving on the Education Team for a future program year, talk to the current PQD — see the Leadership page for the current contact. The PQD typically begins recruiting for the next year's team in March and finalizes it by June.
